The post of this week is about my daily makeup. Over the years I have made many the make-up purchase and I don’t even want to count exactly how much I spent on it. However out of those buys there have been some items that I feel were true investments in my makeup routine; They are products that are worth squandering. They make my day and fill in the blanks that nothing else can fill. Now it’s time to give a little shoutout to my top Makeup investments. It’s all in here…

Charlotte Tilbury Light Wonder Foundation. This is one of my favorite liquid foundations. I’ve been buying this liquid foundation for THREE years, and the last time I went to the Pillow talk at Charlotte Tilbury, I bought one more bottle. It’s my best base investment because it’s a classic that I can always rely on. Giving a soft-focus effect on the skin, it never looks heavy or unnatural on me; whenever I wear it and I see a photo on my skin I make a mental note that I should crack it out more often. And when I use this foundation, I feel my skin is breathing. Light Wonder is my secret to dewy and a glowing, making me feel my skin so smooth and so hydrated! Still the best foundation I own all these years later for a long-lasting.

Charlotte Tilbury Hollywood Beauty Light Wand Highlighter. This highlighter is my latest favorite. This is definitely a ‘treasure’ that I found during my last Charlotte Tilbury pillow talk event. When the BA did a makeup for me, the highlighter was so gorgeous! MAD. This is the most stunning, foolproof, dewy universal liquid highlighter. I love using liquid products. It makes me look so natural, effortless. It’s so easy to blend it. You can blend it out with your finger. It also takes great care in packaging design; you don’t have to worry about the liquid in it being squeezed out.

L’Oréal Paris Paradise Waterproof Mascara. I am always on the hunt for the best mascara, the one that will give me the long, luscious lashes I bloody well should have been born with. L’Oréal’s Paradise mascara promises to give “intense volume, spectacular length and a feather soft feel.” Which basically sounds like my dream lashes in a tube. So, I give it try. I would say hell yeah. The result is that it not only achieves the volume and length guaranteed by L’Oréal, it also stays on my eyelashes, like a cutest baby, all day long in the hot summer without any black circles. Definitely is the best makeup investment.

Kat Von D Tattoo Liner. This eyeliner is also a beauty product that I have been repurchasing for nearly three years. It is interesting that I knew this eyeliner from a car accident news. The girl in the car accident took a selfie. In the photo you can see that although most of her makeup had worn off, her winged eyeliner was still in perfect shape. This photo going viral on social media platforms. Indeed, this eyeliner is TRULY GREAT. This one has a felt tip, different from brush tip, that’s not harsh on the eyes at all.Brush out of the liner fluid is also dark black, the color will be darker than the brush tip – whatever, this is what I use.

BECCA Sunlit Bronzer. This bronzer is my friend Daissy recommended to me. I got the shade Capri Coast. This is the second lightest one. It quite good when I used it for a while. I actually use this one for my contour. Honestly, I have a high demand for contour. It must have the effect of modifying the face shape. At the same time, it must be natural and not too rigid. BECCA perfectly meets my standards and makes me look tan and natural. And this bronzer is perfect for spring and summer coming up. It is really pigmented. This bronzer is the one that I just have to keep in my makeup routine. Non-negotiable.
To be a woman is to be unapologetically resilient despite everything.
